Rip Charlie
Well Charlie the big Buff Rooster did not make it. We didn't catch his illness in time but, we do know the remedy for a sick chicken and we are able to doctor the other chickens in the future. Lord, who would have thought that this was so much work? We love this life, it's just aggravating when you can't save a sick animal.

Nursing our rooster back to health
Well, our buff rooster is sick, our neighbor gave us a remedy that we are trying, at this point we are desperate because he will surely not make it if we do nothing and there is always a chance that what you try will do harm. He is a big beautiful rooster. I will keep everyone informed on any progress.

All is well on the farm
Everything seems to be going well out on the farm. Razzi seems to be fitting right in with the other animals and not so scared. The birds have all been enjoying the weather here lately. We have colder weather coming this week which has me hoping we are ready for the animals sake but they all are in sheds or a shed is available so I'm thinking they will be ok. This has been a lot of daily work, A LOT, but we do get much satisfaction from all of these animals. I often wonder what the hell I did with my time before all of our animals, I don't remember being bored lol, definitely now we are not ;-). Life is good out here regardless of what we have to do. Randy has ordered 29 more buffs to be delivered the first of January so we have got to get prepared for them.

Bridle up
Well today we bought Razzi a bridle, I really wanted nothing at all to do with putting it on him but I put my big girl panties on on helped Randy get it done. Randy had a plan and I must say, it worked perfectly with no incident. When we were done, Razzi was all good like nothing ever happened.

Sun Bathing
Caught RazMaTaz sun bathing and enjoying the day, such a sweet thing laying there until
he realized I was there then he had a freak out
Putting up final fence
Randy is now on the last run of fence. Soon we will be ale to turn the goats and the horse out to pasture. I'm sure they will all be glad for that. I don't think any of them have became really good friends especially in close quarters, there is plenty of room for them but I'm sure they would all be happiest running around.
RIP Gimpy Sue
Well, Halloween Day Gimpy Sue passed. We gave Gimpy Sue the best life possible and we will dearly miss Gimpy. I am hoping Gimpy died peacefully out in the open pen but I'm thinking between the goats and the horse Gimpy may have been trampled. Idk though. Our goal was to let him/her live out the life he/she was given in the best possible manner. I believe that we offered that to poor little Gimpy.
